I'm in the market for getting a new TV card (capture card), and I was looking at these two cards:

WinTV model-401 (pci w/fm radio & remote control)

and

Pinnacle PCTV Pro (pci w/ radio & remote control)

And my question to you people is which one is better? Which one would be the best for capturing video from cable? Any opinions or experience on these cards would be great! If both of these cards suck in the Ananadtech communities' opinion, then what is a good TV card? Thanks in advance for any help. :D

I would choose the Avermedia TV '98 cards over these, for the following reasons.
Price
Performance
Compatability
Tuner channels available.

Buy.com and egghead/onsale are 2 places with good prices on this.

Hey RobsTV, you always seem to be answering all my stupid questions. :)

Is the Avermedia TV '98 better than both of these on TV capture? I basically want the best quality capture card. Thanks! :)

I've tried an Avermedia TV98 remote, and it was able to do captures just fine. Before you buy, check Hauppauge's WInTV theater card, seemed to be a decent buy, except that it has 125 channels to the Avermedia's 181.

Thanks for your opinion airfoil. I'm currently looking into the Avermedia. However, I do have a Pinnacle PcTV Pro with me right now. Deciding which one I want right now. I might just buy the Avermedia and try both out. Or (to save some money), stay here and try to decide.
