I realize this does not have dedicated video memory which IMHO is a big drawback but this will be used to do medical dictation with Dragon Naturally speaking..in general at a desk with ac adapter..so battery life which is poor is not key

I need a much better lcd than i have with a Toshiba satellite..2.4ghz celeron

I need an easy to look at lcd screen and the sony looks great..

Any good/bad info would be great

If you have a Best Buy store near you, go see for yourself. You will either love or hate the screen. The contrast is excellent but the glare from the shiny coating on the screen might be annoying to you.
