Need Opinions on Abit "KV7"

Has anybody had any experience with this MB, good, bad or suggestions on replacement?:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I built my friend's wife a new computer based on this motherboard. It is quick and stable and it was easy to get setup and running properly.

I'd suggest this board to anyone who needs a fast, inexpensive computer.l

Thanks for the reply. I noticed on your personal rig you used the ABIT NF7-S Board. Was that mostly for the overclockabilty? What I'm trying to build is a Sage TV PVR box and don't think that the overclockabilty is an issue. Thanks for the info.Text

Yes, I built my system with overclocking in mind. I also wanted dual channel DDR and soundstorm.

For what you want to do, the KV7 is a great choice. My friend's wife is using her computer to transfer home video to DVD. I put a 2500+ in there for her and she is very pleased with the performance.

What CPU are you planning on pairing with the board?
