Need opinions on a logo.....

Tweaking:
- Ditch any sort of bevel you have on it...
- Reduce the opacity of the shadows
- maybe change the font of "host" to something ever so slightly different

Hehe, well theres no bevel as it is now. Lemme work on the other two and see what i come up with

The background is distracting and if it is going to be used on letterhead, biz cards, etc. it probably isn't going to have that background.

Yea, ill remove the shadow and the bg for use on stationary... this is just for the website for now

Ah, my eyes are shot for tonight anyway...the gray color of the text and the shadow created a gradient/bevel look on the first glance.

I agree w/ LordMaul... drop-shadow should be lighter, possibly closer to the font, the red doesn't stand out quite enough considering the gradient background.

I really do like it! Simple and clean.

Remember when designing a logo: What will it look like without any shading (solid black)? What will it look like black and white? Do you have plans to make version for a black background/white background? What will it look like when it's on paper? Just things to keep in mind

The shape/triangles are too generic. I'm sure that exact configuration is already in use.

Otherwise, good depth.

Much better. I would just try messing around with it for a while and see what looks good .. e.g. make one of the triangles red, make 'host' bold, make the 'R' lowercase, lower the opacity of one of the triangles, and whatever else you feel like.

Ehh, I don't really like it but it was worth a try. How about making the triangle on the left red to sort of balance it out?
