**NEED OPINIONS** just bought 1.1GHZ TBIRD AXIA

i am running an A7V 1.02 motherboard with bios 1007 installed, will the chip be seen? for you A7V users out there what is the multiplier setting for 1.3GHZ? my manual only lists up to 12.5, or is that to much to expect from this chip? all opinions welcome and thanx to those that reply!! 🙂

I am running almost an identical setting to yours, I think my bios might be a little earlier. I'll crack open the case and get you my multiplier settings for 1.3ghz (that's what I'm running at). It's been a while since I set it, so I don't remember offhand.

Edit: I'm using the 12.5 multiplier, which is giving me 1.3ghz (Windows XP reports it as 1.31 actually)

You might get that much out of that chip, but the 1.1 weren't known for their great overclockability, but the AXIA core was so who knows.

i tried to get 1.3 but no go on my ASUS A7V, i got to windows but it froze after about 3 minutes inside. so i went back to 1.2 which runs fine and cool. A7V's are sort of cranky on overclocking i have noticed. oh well, 1.2 is nothing to sneeze at 🙂
