Well I just got my new Canon S50 from Dell and low and behold, there is tiny pin size green dot on the left corner. Its not on the actual image part of the LCD, just the left black corner. I took some pics, and there was no image distortion.

I heard that its common to have one or two, so my question to the pros: is it worth return to get another one from Dell.

Sounds like a dead pixel. Suprising it's on the small lcd. Since the pictures are fine I wouldn't return it. But it's up to you. If you have to pay for shipping it back. I would just live with it.

Yeah, i decided on that. I found a pretty nice forums on Canon cameras. I'm not the only one. ==>LCD and dead pixels.
