Need opinions about fighting parking ticket

I got a parking ticket at a college campus today. The fine $30, $41.50 court costs.

Was I wrong for parking in the fire lane, sure. Is is a common practice for contractors and campus maintance? Yep

This a a wide three lane road between to buildings so it not like I would obstruct a friggin fire truck anyway.

Thinking about taking a photo of maint. vehicles parked there to court.

Think a judge would accept the arguement that college maint. parks here and I should not be selectively targeted by college polce to receive a ticket?

Okay looks like I lose in court, now how do I convince my boss to pay it and add the money on to our bill for extras we did at the job?

University pays for ticket issued by them, to the city. This would give me more satisfaction anyway 🙂

You just don't like taking responsibility for your own actions do you?

Thank you for the psycho analysis.

Perhaps if your job involved driving to and from construction sites moving equipment and materials in and out you would view this as a work responsibility that has infringed on my personal finances.

I had driving jobs when I was younger, however I never parked in a fire lane. If I did and got caught, I would have just payed the ticket.

Call me silly, but that is just me.

Just pay it. I don't recall there ever being a post on here about getting a ticket where others sided with the offending party.
