At my work we are selling these 50pk spindle TDK brand CDR's for $14.99 and i bought 6 spindles and used my 10% discount and an additional 5% discount which made the deal pretty sweet. But I had a question concerning the quality of it since I put on hold 4 more spindles to buy if they were good. Anyways, I ran CDRIndent 1.62 on one of them and it came up:
ATIP: 97m 15s 12f
Disc Manufacturer: Ritek Co.
Recording layer: DYE (Long Strategy; e.g. Cyanine, Azo, Etc.)
Media Type: CD-Recordable
Nominal Capacity: 702.83MB (79m 59s 74f / LBA: 359849)
Recording Speeds: min/max Unknown
are these good? if so i am buying the rest and use it to record my Anime into them if not then I will skip buying the rest and maybe even return a few spindles.
I thought TDK used CMC magnetics because i have some from Costco and they were from CMC with a Short Strategy Dye. But these Riteks have the Long Strategy Dye which I heard is very good for archiving. Any comments welcome. The sooner the better because i think my ATT@home in the SF Bay Area will be Shutdown after Midnight. Thank you !
