Hello, I'm about to make a laptop purchase, most likely one of Dell's Inspiron's. I wonder if I should pay extra for the Ultra XGA Display or settle for the Super XGA+ Display. There's about a $100 price difference. If you have experience with either, please let me know. Is it worth the cost?

I have seen two Dell I8000's side by side and there is not too much difference. If you typically run a high res, it may be for you. With the UXGA 15" from Dell, the pixels are smaller, 133/inch as opposed to 117/inch with the SXGA+. Also, the I8000 just picked up the new Geforce2Go video card with 32mb DDR which I would highly recommend. I have one on order.

UXGA native resolution is 1600x1200, and on a 15" LCD that is too small IMHO.

I have the SXGA+ and it's pretty small, but it's a beautiful display.
