I am going to plug in my receiver to a DVD player upstairs and need to know if the receiver does conversions...as in component into the reciever and composite video out to the tv.

I know this point is moot, but I have the cables nice and organized, and want to keep them that way until my parents get a new tv....

Thanks

HAPPY 4th!

it depends on what model receiver it is. i know the denon receivers can do it...actually the 3803 will convert everything into component video, and boy does it work well. but i dont see why it wouldnt work

I believe its just straight through, whatever goes in is what goes out. I also own the 600.....excellent receiver.

It was horrible watching movies a few fett away on a 19'' monitor so I could get in the speaker range.

ALthough viewing on my dad's 1970's 27inch will be a downgrade in quality, it will be worth it to watch movies with the folks...

pics soon....my cam isn't here today

WOW..it sounds AWESOME.....

I had it in the basement where the acoustics made it sound like ass compared to upstairs....

Problem is the folks take care of thjis kids sometimes...I think they are around age 10+.....they are girls though, so hopefully no scuff marks in the near future....

TRUST me....pics before ht eweekend is through
