I am getting the 21" Gateway HDTV LCD monitor with my new computer. It comes with the integrated Intel which I am sure is crap. I posted a link earlier and it was suggested that I get the 6600GT. I just checked it out but it doesn't support HDTV. I would assume that I want this since I will be getting the HDTV LCD. What would it matter if I get one that doens't have it? Thanks guys.

Most 6600GTs support HDTV, my Rosewill came with a 9-pin cable that has component, composite, and s-video out. There are also some cheaper low end cards that support HDTV as well if you're not a gamer, just go to Newegg and search for cards with HDTV support.

What do you mean "support HDTV?" Are you referring to HDCP over DVI?

No, I was looking at the "Tv-out" portion on Newegg's site and it states that its "s-video/composite-out". While others said that it had HDTV out. I do see that it comes with a HDTV cable but I was worried that it didn't say it.
