Need New Router Advice

I'm looking for a new router to replace my pos netgear one and I'm currently looking at the Linksys WRT54G and the D-Link DI-624. They are both about equal in cost, but I was wondering which one would be the better choice. Or, is there a better router that I can get for under $50?

The linksys is good, and it's open source so you can run whatever you want on it.
Be careful the newest release v5 is not open source.

Linksys WRT54GS. Thanks to Linksys cost-optimizing, the GS is now the only one you can be sure will run third-party firmware. (well, until they change it again)
