Need new monitor, VX922 died...

This one here looks really nice -- black, glossy screen, 16.7 million colors (true 8-bit panel?), under $300:

Link is broken, but AFAIK all 22" LCDs sport TN panels and thus only achieve 16.7 Million colors via dithering. 8-bit 22" for less than $300 sounds too good to be true.

It might not be true 8-bit, but surely it's a step up from the 6-bit panel on my VX922?

Regardless, I need some input by the end of the day -- I really want to order soon. I can't be without a monitor for very long.
