First of all, I live in Sweden so don't tease me with uber offers from NewEgg or whatever.
My AOC 19" from 2001 is starting to behave weirdly. I'll need to replace it. I've preferred CRT's so far. Once you lug the heavy bastard to its place, I find the clarity and more importantly speed (0 latency) is good for gaming.
But I might need to consider LCD's. I am a newb when it comes to LCD's. I know I want one that can handle a range of resolutions well, from 320x200 for old games to 1280x960 (I prefer 4:3 ratio) for newer ones. Low latency is a requirement. What's the best reputable model/manufacturer/line for gaming? Size could be 19-21" probably. Nothing too expensive, but solid and good for gaming.
Some people claim that CRT's are entirely obsolete for gaming while other posts have claimed they still hold the crown due to zero latency, no native resolution limitations and sharper image quality.
