Need new Intake fans for my Antec 300.2

I actually just purchased the Cougar CF-V12s for my new build, I havent constructed it yet but the fans in person are absolutely beautiful

when shopping around for mine they seemed like the best bang for your buck, I also love the orange colored ones

If you are looking for silent fans, the definitive authority has been SilentPC Review. Here is the current recommended fan list:

Please read the reviews of the fans on that list (the link to the review is typically the fan model), as to operate "silent", many of the fans require use with either a fan controller, voltage mod, or motherboard which can control the fan speed. This goes especially for the Nexus/Yate Loon D12SL-12, but at full speed it is far from "silent" (it is also only ~ $4).

I don't require silent. I just know I can get more airflow and less noise.

Bitfenix Spectre fans are the perfect front intake case fans. I have them on all of my systems, they are quiet and move decent air with very minimal noise.

True, but no budget was specified. In my opinion, yes, they are significantly better for use as a case fan. I should know, I have both...

Fair enough. What makes the Noctua better?
When looking at the specs, it seems that the cougar is better cfm and dB at max speed.
BUT, i know that specs dont really tell the whole story, just selling points you can point a number to.

Those Cougars will be just fine for the 300-2. Noctua costs three times the price for better quality control and warranty service.
