Need new i7 socket 1150 CPU fan but don't want to remove mobo

I recently built a new gaming PC with an i7 4790k. Its in a full tower with six HDS and pretty much full to capacity. I want to start overclocking this baby but really dont want to use the stock HS/fan. Is there an aftermarket 1150 cpu fan that is good that can install with the default socket holes?

Your case does not have an access cutout to get to mounting holes from the back? Many do.

Are examples of better coolers that use the stock mounting method.

To overclock much at all, you will need more pressure than the stock holes can provide. You will need a bolt on HSF like the 212 evo or similar.

I can vouch for the TX3, does the job just fine however the plastic stems are flimsy and you should steal the tabs (both white stem and black tab) from an official Intel HSF if you can and place them in the TX3.

Hmm, good call on opening the right side. My case is a Thermaltake VA8003BWS. I'll check tonight after work if I can open the right side. Thanks for the recommendations.

From pictures of that case on Newegg, it doesn't have a cpu cutout, so you'd have issues with many custom coolers.

Thats what I figured. UG, going to try one of the suggested coolers above.

I bought this case 9 years ago and only recently swapped mobo and cpu.

I remember getting a particular case that had the backplate cutout but turned out that it wasn't even lined up with my AM3+ system, I couldn't even install the Hyper 212+ without pulling the motherboard because the top two holes were covered by the chasis hence I wouldn't be able to install the 2 nuts.
