Well if you want to stick with a headset you can do better for sure. Depending on your needs you can also just buy a good headphone and a clip on mic. This would provide even better sound. Everything depends on your budget though.
So budget first
Needs second. ie: what will you use it for?
Do you have to use USB? or do you have the option of using an external dac/amp?
Hey, you didn't give out a lot of information, like how big is your budget and what kind of preference you have.
I'll try to help you by giving my recommendation. The HyperX Cloud Revolver Gaming Headset is a great set of headphones with a mic. The price isn't that high as well.
When I think of wired quality headed with a mic, I immediately think of Sennheiser. I would look there.
But do you already have a nice pair of cans? If so the AntLion mic is an elegant and quality solution. It's turned my audiophile headphones into mic'd headphones. No complaints
I don't remember the ideal DAC/Amps in the sub $100 range but something to that effect is what you want. Note those Philips are open back. Fantastic cans for the price.
