Need new glasses!

Alright now, wearing these contacts 16 hours a day is not good for my eyes, so I want a new pair of glasses. So im 18 years old and of course want something that looks nice and gets the job done. Any suggestions?

Get the kind with the clear lenses. You might wanna try to get a frame for them too. 😛

Go to the store and check out some frames and see what is right for you. Bring a friend.

Here's a tip:

DO NOT GET "DESIGNER" GLASSES!

I've had two pairs of Giorgio Armani that were $300+ for the frames and a Dolce & Gabanna that was $279 + lenses and they all broke. I bought some nice glasses for $349 (for frames) and get the polycarbonate lenses ($129.) For for about a $500 set of glasses, they gave me the the lenses and frames for $300 even! Go to Sterling Optical. Try them on. Don't get something too small, or too big.

Depending how much you have for the frames, I could reccomend you some frames.

You always do give good advice🙂

Bringing a friend is a good idea. But just make sure the kid will give you an honest opinion, but knows what is fashionable- meaning don't bring Grandma😛

EDIT: I'm 200/200 without glasses so I had to guess on what looked good.

including lenses? How bad is your vision?

The reason I ask is because I needed polycarbonte lenses because of terrible vision. The lenses at Sterling were $160. Lenscrafters asked for $300 just for lenses alone!

I ended up spending $300 last week for a set of new glasses. It sucked to drop that much cash, but this is something I need to be using everyday, always. My D&G's were electrical taped together, but this made my sight off since the lense was crooked so it was a pain to see in class. GET GOOD GLASSES😀

<-----four eyes😉

How much did you spend on contacts? What area are you in? Hopefully Long Island, NY so the people at Sterling can hook you up!

I spend 80 for 6 months worth I think. I live in Mt. Bethel, Pennsylvania too!!

$200 for frames is reasonable, but it depends on the shape of your face. All my old glasses would rub against my temple so I would get red irritation there since I always wear my glasses.

sh!t closest sterling is 30 miles away from you. Don't go to a store in the mall! Lenscrafters (sorry Jehovah), Cohen's, etc will rape you on lenses since you have bad vision like me. Go to a local store and get a quote.
