I have an asus k7v-133 slot a motherboard that currently is home to my athlon 600. I want the fastest cpu without having to buy a new motherboard. Unfortunately I haven't found anywhere on asus, amd or any other website about what cpus will work with my motherboard.
I would like to get a t-bird but I'm not sure if they work with my mobo. If anyone would like to help me find what would be the best cpu for me then I'd appreciate it. Also, I'd like a new vid card too but I'm not sure what's the best one for me. I'd imagine a geforce 3 or something (I have a geforce 1 ddr now) but any comments are welcome. I'd like to spend $150 all in all for both parts so I'm looking for used parts.
