I have a Rosewill Challenger mid-tower gaming case. The motherboard is a asrock z75 pro3 ivybridge

Just bought a Radeon R9 290 video card, Sapphire Tri-x that won't fit unless I break out a hacksaw to the case.

Do I need a full tower?

If not what mid tower will hold it?

I need to hold a DVD/CD burner, a SSD and 2 1Tb harddrives

Recomendation for a full tower? I do like Roswill but open minded.

Budget $100

Thanks

what model r9 290? different versions of the r9 290 vary in length from ~10.5-12"
the rosewill challenger has 11.375" clearance for GPU.

Many midtower computers will fit an r9 290.
the rosewill blackhawk can fit a 11.8" GPU , 16.5" with drive cage removed.

the fractal design r4 and corsair carbide series are also good choices.

It is the Sapphire Tri-X with 3 fan cooler. It is a solid 12 inches, if not a little longer.
