I'm looking for a new case. I have a AOpen HX08. And I hate it, its too damn big. And you have to slide the sides ALL the way back to get them off. And you have to take the Top off to get the sides off.

Anyways, I'm looking for a Mid-Tower case, 300watt AMD approved PS, and needs some good airflow. Oh yeah and around $100, preferably lower. I just built a comp for a friend using an Enlight7237. I like the size alot, but I hated having to take off the front bezel to get the sides off. But other than that I liked it alot. I was thinking of maybe the Enlight 7237, the InWin S500 I think thats the right one, and was looking at the Antec SX830. I hear many good things about it, but its pretty big, not as big as my AOpen, but still big.

I plan on having a cd-rom, cd-rw, internal zip, and a floppy. Also I move the case around a good bit going to LANs, and working on it alot. I plan on overclocking too, so good airflow is a must.

Thanks for any suggestions/comments!!

A friend of mine has one, its still pretty big, not that much smaller than my AOpen. I'm still considering it though.

Thanks

Any more suggestions/comments? I'll probably end up with the Antec SX830. But just didn't want something that big.

Take a look at the Enlight 7237. It's a reasonably priced, well-built, roomy mid-tower. And, for modding, it's one of the best cases around.

I love my 7237. It was very easy to mod and has a lot of nice features. Having to remove the front bezel is kind of a pain but for me it is no big deal.

I don't think I have seen a post in the last month that mentions Antec cases and doesn't have hagbard dumping on them......WE KNOW YOU DON'T LIKE ANTEC ALREADY!!!!! I hate PC Power and Cooling fans but I don't go dumping on every thread that mentions them. I made my feelings known in one thread but since others responded that they had much different experiences than I did, I havn't pushed the issue. I had a bad experience with PCP&C and you had a bad experience with Antec. Lots of others have great experiences with them so obviously it isn't a wide spread issue. I have e-mailed Antec CS and no they didn't respond to my first e-mail but when I e-mailed them a second time I had my replacement parts within a week and for FREE!!! I don't know of any company who is so willing to help you out. Hell both of the broken parts were even my fault (one I know and one I suspect) and they still replaced them for me for free.
