need new bios

I have a gateway computer with a Pll 450 the chipset is an intel FW82443BX I have been told I can flash the bios and install a Plll on a slocket card. I cant find the chipset on the intel suite. Anybody know or have the bios upgrade. gateway was no help. Thanks

The number you gave is for the Chipset which is used on a variety of boards such as the Ausus CUBX, Shuttle, Abit and so on.
You need to find out the motherboard manufacturer first.

Just enter the numbers of your now Bios in the box.
The Bios string is usually the number sequence that appears on the screen at Bootup
