I am building a system for a buddy who will never overclock or really go much
beyond the original setup. He has been running a P3 750 for awhile and wants
to keep that one as it's still enough for most of what he does.

From spare parts I am putting together an AMD XP2200+ on an Epox 8K3A+ board,
80GB hard drive and maybe a cdrw.

I need an inexpensive, but reasonable (combo I think would be most cost effective)
case and PSU. No clear side panels, steel is just fine. I know I can get a generic case
for cheap, but it's the PSU that comes with those that worry me.

Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mark

Check out the Enlight EN-4102C. It comes with a 300w Enlight PSU. I would trust Antec, Enermax, Enlight, AOpen, or Sparkle power supplies the most.

Also take a look at Enermax CS-003-01WB. It comes with a nice 350w Enermax PSU.

The Raidmax 208 or 208B may be a good solution. Its very inexpensive, and the Raidmax PSU's seem to be reliable. I haven't had any problems with them, and they give a nice clean power.

My buddy likes this case at Newegg.
Enermax CS-3191L-B3A (Black), Steel and Plastic Front Panel w/ Acrylic Enermax Logo on side Window Mid ATX Tower Case - Retail

The only problem I see is that it is with a Power UP PSU and not an Enermax PSU. I feel that since his power demands are not that great a 350 should be fine, but what about that brand PSU?
On Neweggs site the case still gets very good reviews with a couple of mixed reviews. I know that sites own reviews can be misleading at times, just want to check before I recomend.
