Need new 775 mobo

I'm not too impressed with my current motherboard I bought last year. I'm looking for a new one that has at least 2 pcie 1x slots and 1 pcie x16 slot is fine I don't think i"ll ever buy two video cards to sli or crossfire. Any recommendations? I was looking at this GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R, but is the newer x38 ect boards be better even if I don't crossfire? thanks.

That is a great board for a Quad core. The X38, i think, offers 1T timings on RAM and a few other things... but someone who knows more could post more....
