My 15 year old Koss M-80 Plus speakers have had their foam deteriorated. Koss no longer makes speakers but I need to replace the 4 4" drivers on them but don;t want to do the speaker repair kit thing (PITA). Anyone know where I can get suitable replacements? Radio Shack apparently doesnt sell drivers anymore.

I've got the same speakers!

But, I'm not sure I can offer much advice to you. If you just pick any old 4" driver and don't match it up well with the crossover and cabinet of the M80+ it's probably going to sound pretty poor. This might be a good time to buy new speakers. Partsexpress.com has a good selection of new speakers and parts in case you still want to have a guess at what midrange will sound ok.

I have tons of speakers, high end and mid level. I know the M80 drivers are 4 ohm and nigh impossible to find. I just want to keep them because they are a beautiful set of speakers. Solid, overdrive protection. I love em. I'll check that site, thanks.
