i have a 60gb ipod but i got the shuffle because its not a hd player which means it wont be damaged during work..or RUNNING. and also its cheap so its disposable if it gets banged up. my 2 cents.

also no hd player should skip so skipping shouldnt be an issue

um, a shuffle is cheap? wow

My thoughts exactly when I read that. Wish I could throw around words like "cheap" about a $99 MP3 player.

never said i had the $99 model lol.

where can you find a shuffle for less than $99?

I had a 256MB creative and it was 60, i guess you could call that cheap

Im going to NOT recommend the ipod mini for running. My mini skipped like a mofo when I ran it one day. I kept it in my left pocket and it skipped the whole damn time and then just stopped playing a song. Go flash if your going to run.

my hdd based player went camping with me, it still works like a charm, it has been hit a few times, dropped a couple, still goes. granted, I try and keep it as safe as possible. but im sure if you kept it secure, you shouldn't have a prob, unless it is defective

So what player do you have?

Iriver H10 5GB

hey scorp, I wanted the H10 originally, but I played around witht he controls at best buy and it immediately turned me away from it. For example, its touch sensitive pad at the center has only 1 speed, even if I moved my fingers up or down faster there is only 1 constant speed. Is the speed adjustable? The play was in a case so I didn't get to touch everything.

Thanks.

Isn't Canada also a part of America? So Canada is it's own ass?

Are you seriously that retarded?

You do realize that Canada IS part of America, right? North America = America. United States of America != America.

Lol apparently they don't have maps in Canada

Rugged design for a runner/physically active person.
Reliable.

Why not just get a smaller size flash based player, and fill it with 1-2 hours worth of songs when you go running?
