I have successfully gone through 2 motherboards and neither are giving me the performance I expect, the ECS was bad, crashing constatly, the gigabyte was just a short term fix so I could get through school and then worry about all of this technical stuff.

Here are my "simple" requirements
* All in Wonder Radeom and SB Live mp3 MUST be able function together
* Motherboard has to be STABLE, and not
* I don't plan to overclock my 1GHz Thunderbird so that should make things a little easier to deal with
* The motherboard should hold 1.5 GB memory and intend on buying that at the same time as the motherboard.

Please any advice would be greatly appreciated.

u have PC133 SDRAM already? if so, pickup Epox 8KTA3 for $94 at Newegg.com. Check around, and you'll see it's a very stable board. If you go DDR, get the other Epox, the 8K7A for $129.

What are you going to do with 1.5 GB of RAM? I've got 512MB of RD RAM on my PC at work and I rarely ever peak over 256MB of utilization. This is with compiling huge amounts of code(F-16 Operation Flight Programs).

I currently have 384MB and run TV through my PC, I get about 1/2 - 1 hour of watch time before the computer goes NUTS, no memory warnings etc. I want enough memory so that i don't have to ever see those messages again.

I have been a computer tech for 3 years at a local computer store. The only motherboard we sell are ASUS and Abit and customers are very happy with these board. They make very reliable and stable boards.
