hey guys, i was just getting some high quality Wallpapers 1600x1200, 1280x1024 etc...i had like 2 open and i also had winamp, aim, couple more ie windows... and 1 or 2 other progs open... and i tried opening 1 in paint it the picture wouldnt show up .... and then it wouldnt let me close paint it said not enuf memory or something... damn.. i guess i do need more then 256mb of ddr... just felt like sharing that... heh.. laters all!
 
You're probably running Win98 and ran out of resources, not memory, you wouldn't have that problem with a half-decent OS.
 
I am running 98SE and have never had a problem with resources 🙂 98 still r00Lz

btw, 256MB is plenty. like nothingman said, it's resources, not your memory.
