Need monitor for gaming 200-300 budget

Eh if you're looking for one on a budget I'd always recommend a Polyview (of course I'm biased because I used to work for the company that sells them in the States). No rebates to worry about. My personal favorites when I worked there were the Polyview V17D (for 17 inch) and V293 (for 19 inch). Both have both analog and DVI and comes with both cables. That V293 though is (should be anyway) an MVA panel though which is slower than TN so don't know if it's that suitable for gaming.

Oh yeah. 19" monitors have 0.294 mm pixel pitch. The only way it'd have 0.264 mm pixel pitch is if its resolution were 1425 x 1140.

With budget no-name monitors, it's more important to look at the company's past reputation, especially if it's cheap because they're offering rebates (and/or look at how aggressive you'll be pursuing a rebate if they make up some excuse to not give it to you). Remember that all companies have to have some sort of business model, they can't always be operating at a loss, so the budget guys have to break even one way or another, just like the big boys.
