need mobo recommendation: AMD, usb2.0, LAN, stable. not too expensive. this is just for a server. the rest of the money's going into a high end gaming machine....

Get a KT400 board. They can be had for $70 or less for a good one and support up to 166Mhz FSB chips and most have Lan, USB2.0, sound, and are stable with the right OS.

Now for a new gaming system I would say nForce2 but for a basic server type, kt400.

I will second that! I am loving mine just replace the Northbridge fan with a decent quality Ball bearing fan like a 40mm sunon. I have been hearing about a few fan failures and i know mine is on its way out screams pretty good when it is cold. In spite of that i do really like everything else about this board.
