Need Micro ATX Power Supply but dont know which one to get

I figured out my 9800 pro keeps resetting because my power supply is only 200 watts so I'm looking for a 300 watt one but i need it to fit around 5 3/4 x 3 3/4 x 3 1/2. Any suggestions?

Fortron/Sparkle recently came out with a 270 watter that should do fine for most systems. Shouldn't be too hard to find one by now.

The problem with those brand name systems HP/Compaq/Dell/IBM etc is that their parts are mostly custom made and their cases will rarely take third party psu's or motherboards.

try this link for a place to start http://www.linktionary.com/pavilion/

My advice to you would be to try and sell your pavilion and buy something that's easily upgradeable instead

good luck

Yup, that's called a PS3 size (same width and height as std ATX but much less deep) not a uATX size. Fortron has a 200W unit - FSP200-60SPV-D. You could use Froogle to search on "PS3 power supply" and see what pops up - but I don't recall seeing higher than 200W in that size.
. I found a HighPower 250W. PS3 that's going for around $50. All the rest are 200W units for under $30. HighPower is decent, Enlight (and other brands) rebadge their PSUs.

There's the :sun: !
