need memory recommendation

I've narrowed down a consistent crashing problem I've been having to memory heat.

I can run fine if I have a case fan hooked up, but I've been going for silence, and the case fan is kind of defeating my sweet zalman reserator.

My mb is a gigabyte 939 nf3 ultra. It has a little fan on the chipset, which I'm hoping to replace with a big heatsink. My cpu (amd 3500 90nm) and video (6800 gt) are both being cooled just fine with the reserator, temps look completely reasonable. I'm not overclocking anything.

My memory is two 512 sticks of the crucial ballistix 3200. These things run a little hot, and the configuration on the gigabyte board has them right next to each other. Stock voltage on these things is 2.8v.

Everything runs great if I have a case fan blowing, but some time after I turn off the fan I crash. I tried relaxing the timing and lowering the voltage on the memory, same result.

So I'm wondering if there is other memory I should be considering, anybody have any recommendations?

Case is an antec 160, ps is antec 480w. I have one hd, a seagate barracuda of some sort. One sony dvd drive.
