I think its the size of each chip x the number of bits in the memory bus. So 64x64 would mean that each chip was a 64MB 64bit chip, 32x64 would be 32MB 64 bit chips, etc.

I believe you multiply the first number by 8 to get the size in MB, and the second number is the type.. IE 64bit is non ecc, 72bit is ECC.
