Need memory help!!!

I'm getting ready to start assembling my new system and I think I should have purchased different RAM.

I'm running:

GIGABYTE GA-P35C-DS3R
Intel e6850
G.SKILL 4GB(2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 PC6400
Windows XP Pro

Should I have choosen PC8500 DDR2 1066 RAM instead?

Maybe I should have gotten 2 x 1GB instead of 2 x 2GB?

Should have got 2x1GB, you can get much better timings and it is a lot cheaper.

You are only running XP Pro (i assume 32bit). there is no need for 4gb of ram
