I'm finalizing my core i5-760 build on a Gigabyte P55A-UD3 motherboard and need some help selecting the proper memory. I don't want it to have tall heat spreaders because I will be using the Hyper 212+.

Here are two of the QVL list that I was thinking about, both from Gskill....

F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ
F3-10666CL8D-4GBHK

They are both the same price on newegg ($92), but one is 1333 and other is 1600. I'm a little concerned about high the reported high RMA rates on these from user reviews at newegg.

Any advice?

I have a Frys nearby that I can easily pick up some ram from....

Thanks for the help.

Either of those would be fine. If you want to OC, go with the 1600, otherwise it really doesn't matter.

I perused the reviews and neither seemed to have anything out of the ordinary (a few legitimate DOAs, a bunch of people with no clue).

Ok great, originally bought the 1333mhz, but will return it for the 1600 because I do plan to overclock. Hopefully newegg will be understanding with the return ( I haven't even received it yet). Thanks for the advice.

You're welcome. They should be fine with it as long as you don't open it.
