I am looking to get a Single 512 DDR chip.
I am hoping to do some overclocking. Should I go with PC3200?
I am looking to spend under $105 shipped if possible.
Please let me know my best bet
Thanks

I was considering the Kingston Hyper X PC3000 but someone said that all that is, is a pc2700 hand picked. Is that true? I am trying my best to keep the cost around $100.
Thanks for the help guys

Well I thought that being a hand picked 2700 was a bad thing. Maybe not. Figure i'll probably just go with the kingston. Have heard only good about that 512 PC3000 chip.
Thanks for the info.
PS- how much did you pay for yours?
thanks

Picked up some TwinMOS/Winbond PC3200,512MB from
a guy selling it over at Amdmb fs forum. Pretty popular thread
he's got going over there. Some have it running
at 208FSB with 4 2 2 CAS2 timings. Great stuff. $110.00 shipped.

DO you think that there is a big different between the PC2700 and the PC3000 Kingston Hyper X 512 MB chip?
I am debating if it is worth an extra $15 for the pc3000 priced at $89 or the PC2700 Priced at $79
What do you guys think?
I will be matching that with either an xp1700 or xp2100
thanks

So what is the BEST deal on a 512 Chip (PC2700,PC3000, or PC3200) that can be overclocked arond $100 and some change???
I really like the Kingston Hyper X 512 PC300
Someone said this doesn't work well with the Asus A7N8X deluxe. Is this false? Anyone have this combo? I am using the A7N8X deluxe. Please let me know a good chip to go with

Best Buy this week... 512 MB of PC2700 for $40 after rebates... probably not the most overclockable, but hey... for $40, I'm not gonna argue.
