Need Memory Advice for OC 2.4C!

I have had absolutely no luck with memory on my system. I have an overclocked 2.4C, that will do 3.4 stable.

I tried Kingston PC4000 HyperX. Garbage.

I tried three different sets of Geil PC4000. One garbage, the other two were barely adequate.

By garbage, I mean they will run at their rated speeds, but give memory errors with PAT enabled. By barely adequate, I mean they will run at their rated speeds with PAT enabled, but not at anything above their rated speeds.

My CPU is stable at 283FSB. So what is the most "affordable" memory out there that will allow me to take full advantage of this FSB, while still enabling PAT???

What motherboard? Specifically, how much vdimm does your motherboard supply? I was able to use OCZ pc4000 golds at 280fsb max with 2.85vdimm with relaxed timings 3-4-4-8 on my Asus P4C800.

I have the Asus P4C800-E deluxe. Gives Vdimm up to 2.85v.

I've been OCZ, its just so expensive!
