Need media censoring facts..

not as much censored as biased imo i believe the US government has the right to censor things involving national security and such.

If you go to the L.A. times website in todays (sundays) paper in the opinion section there was a great article on how the military severely censors reporting from the front lines. It was on page 2 it was quite informative.

No one is censoring you, the only way you won't see whats happening in the world is if you don't look. Our News services don't get censored by the goverment they get censored by the $$$$.

All militaries do that because reporters are notoriously stupid in reporting thing that shouldn't be reported at that time. Like where the troops are where they are going what the war plans are.

A lot of the time the news isn't censored, but brought in a coloured way.

The difference between 'freedom fighter' and 'terrorist'. Between 'bloodthirsty racist maniac' and 'patriot'.

If the audience wants to read a certain way, and you bring it that way, you do not need to censor. They will only see what they/you want to anyway.
