i'm doing a sr20det rebuild/upgrade so my question is do i need to use my crank angle sensor?
as im canceling out the vct and using adjustable cam gears?
any help will be appreciated thanks.
 
iirc the CAS is with the distributor, therefore I would retain the connectivity. you may still get codes if you omit it without VCT
