i'm doing a sr20det rebuild/upgrade so my question is do i need to use my crank angle sensor?
as im canceling out the vct and using adjustable cam gears?
any help will be appreciated thanks.

I assume you meant to post this in the garage, hopefully a mod will move it over

iirc the CAS is with the distributor, therefore I would retain the connectivity. you may still get codes if you omit it without VCT
