All I have on it is that currently , there's an AMD K6-2 266mhz cpu in it & the video chip on the board says : TX Pro-II .............. Also on the board N622.

4 pci slots
3 Isa

Anyone know where I can find out what manufacturer made the board ?

Thanks ;)

Update : Found out that the Manufacturer is PC Chips (M571)

Maximum chip is Amd K6 but what is the max. Mhz for a K6 ?

Thanks :)

The K6-3 was released up to 450MHz. K6-2 was released up to 550MHz.

You may want to check if the mobo will support the AMD K6-2+ or K6-3+

So, that's an M571 then. Apparently you have a revision 3.2A or newer, else you wouldn't have the 2.2V needed for your K6-2/266.

That old SiS chipset runs well with K6-2, but only at 66 MHz CPU bus. 75 and 83 are there, but are useful with Cyrix MII only.

So, K6-2/400 run at 6.0x 66 is the fastest AMD here.

Also very fine on this board (I assume you don't do any 3D gaming with that shared-memory-VGA board), and ridiculously cheap to get, is a Cyrix MII-333, either the "83 MHz 3.0x" or "75 MHz 3.5x" flavor - depending on whether your M571 is a 75 MHz rev. 3.2A or a 83 MHz capable rev. 7.0. If you manage to find a 2.2V MII-433 "3.0x 100 MHz", get that one and run it 4.0x 75 instead.

Either of the above gives good application speed with that board, but the Cyrixes actually do better thanks to the higher bus speed.
