Need mattress advice...Tempurpedic or memory foam

I'm looking at the Tempurpedic or other memory foam mattresses. I know the Tempurpedic is expensive ($2000 for king). Anyone have any experience with these types?

I tried one of those memory foam toppers for a few weeks, and I didn't like it at all. I don't think they are made for stomach sleepers. Plus the topper conformed to my body so well, it almost felt suffocating, and during the summer I tried it it made me sweat more than normal. But my wife loved it.

I've got the full foam mattess
I love it, just make sure you get one designed for your body weight
The only thing I don't like is its hotter than a regular mattress.

I would check out abed.com which supposedly makes the same quality bed but for 1/3 the price of Tempurpedic.

We puchased a Sleep Number bed a couple month ago and it has been awesome! once you talk 2k range... do yourself a favor and go that route!

try them out first. i tried them all out and ended up buying a Latex mattress. latex mattresses have all the advantages of the tempurpedic but are a lot less expensive.
