So the back of the room is open with a wooden frame leading into the room, which sucks. Is there any way I could like, stick on a rail (I'd prefer not to drill if possible) and put a sliding curtain type thing on there that I could open and close at will?

Thanks bros.

you could nail in a rail if you don't want to drill one in, but I'd use the drill.

You can get one of those extendable curtain rods and just put a door length currtain on it. It wouldn't look very pretty but it requires no drilling or anything.

So...wait - a wooden frame...like a door frame? Install a door then? That would generally be better than fabric

a shower curtain rod would work fine. the kind with the spring or the kind that you have to twist to tighten.

Ah, so there is drywall; I say go to Home Depot/Lowe's and simply find a curtain rod that can be mounted with some screws directly into the door jamb.

Yeah i dunno why I was thinking directly on the frame. Your idea is much better though! Any ideas on how much this stuff costs?

Really depends on what kind of fancy rod you want; probably 20 or so cheapest and the sky would be the limit.

What kind of room is that? Honestly looks a little small for a man cave...Anyway I'd hang some alder doors and be done

If you don't want something permanent, just go with this. They have shower curtain rods that are held in place by tension. Use that with a curtain. Should be cheap 'n' easy.

If you really want a man "cave" you should put in real doors 'n' stuff.

The curtain rod idea sounds really ghetto. You can get pairs of bi-fold doors at least 6 feet wide. If the opening is still too wide for that, then you might want to look into accordion doors.
