have 7 hard drives, 2 on ide channel and 5 on 3 promise 100 cards
I set them all up one at a time, all were working (actually 7 worked, pulled the 8th
because system would hang with it connected sometimes, it would only read as 2014 mb when
it is 80g)
but 3 of them 'disappeared' off the cards while I was installing the video (aiw 8500, pain in
the keister in wxp)
they don't show up at all in wxp, but if I run partition magic it can sometimes see them, but I can't access them-
on the 30g drive it will show the partitions, on the others it shows them as completely 'unallocated'
any ideas, any ide masters out there?
I need my data off these drives 🙁
