Currently have a very crude design for a logo for our business and need someone with some creativity to make it look sleek and professional. Needs to have a modern tech look but still very professional, will need to be able to be placed on business cards and company letterhead. Company is a network consulting company focusing on security and network design. Looking for ideas, the best idea out there will be given $30 for the logo and first opportunity to create a banner based on that logo for the website for another $30.

No real hurry, so take your time. I will also give you a nice tip if i really like the design.

We are good with suggestions but like red, charcoal and white, but depends on the design.

The contest will close Monday at midnight. Winner will be announced within 2 days after that. I like the way the designs are going, creativity is what I lack and Ciber has told me you guys are some of the most creative around and that your designs are superb. I look forward to seeing more submissions. Technical and eye-catching are key but as stated, must also be professional. Good work on the first 2 submissions, excited to see some more!

Personally I ask for it here because I lack creativity to come up with a great logo and I know there are others out there that have that skill. I don't mind paying for someone's hard work and creating a contest is a great way to do it. I get a variety of creativity and get to reward the best one out of them all. For the winner it may be an hour of work for $30 plus the first dibs at working the banner. I couldn't come up with with a good design if you gave me 2 months (notice the "crude design").

I also think it's a great way for the submitters to show their abilities. It's a lot harder for me to go hire someone for this work when I have no idea if they can design something that reflects my company.

Winners all around this way! :)

This design is more experimental than anything. Tried making fonts from scratch and using calc to get the right line angles. Ended up looking crappy in the end. Oh well. I'll color it in later.
