Need logitec MX 700 Mouse help!!

I Like this Cordless Mouse very much BUT I can't even get the scroll wheel to do anything in games let alone the other four buttons.
I would really like to use more of my mouse buttons in games. Any Help or Ideas

Are you using the Mouseware drivers/software?

If so...don't. They are the worst POS ever! 😉 I have never used the Mouseware drivers (well...since I found that the scrollwheel didn't work in games) and not had any problems 🙂

I don't have a logitec keyboard But all the keys seem to function

I use my old Logitech mouse scroll wheel for weapon select in gaming,I`m also using the latest Logitech mouseware,try universal scroll and 3 lines in mouseware settings,my scroll wheel always works in gaming.

I wen't to logitecs site and found that they have a MouseWare Advanced Settings Utility.
the way I understood it that you can map keyboard keys to your mouse for games. That would be cool if you could use all 8 buttons in a game.

Im using the latest Logitech software, and i dont have problems with the mouse in games at all.
In fact, ive never had problems with any of the Logitech software in games.
