Use the screen saver password feature on whatever version of Windows you are running. Set the screen saver to run in 1 or 2 minutes of non activity and set a password....instant lockout for all except you.
For 9x systems, you'll need to dig around for the many free/shareware apps available; try winfiles, davecentral, and download.com.
Just loading a passworded screensaver will NOT work if you reboot, unless you also have a bios boot password enabled. One of the above solutions would be much easier and probably more secure without the danger of permanently locking you out of your computer if you forget the bios password.
