Need lcd widescreen monitor...

I want a LCD monitor. Is it worth it to buy widescreen for watching movies, etc.??
Want at least a 19in. 20.1 in preferable. if within the budget and worth it.

Anyone know of any good deals? around $400 or so for widescreens, and around 250-300 for regular LCDs.
Please recommend some.

I warn you. Native resolution and games. I would not have gotten my 2000fp (20.1") had I understood how hard it is to get good framerates in its native resolution (1600x1200).
