Need LCD monitors suggestions

I'll soon be moving from my Flat 19" CRT to LCD, and I'll mostly be gaming on it, but also sometimes watching movies and browsing the web. I've got three choices, within my $300 budget before taxes:

Samsung because I have a 244T. NOT Viewsonic because every one I ever had was a POS.

I got a LG L227WTG from best buy for $290 and comparing it by standing and looking at the screens this just blew the others away.
Its a glossy screen but it has the most vibrant colors that I've seen. I didn't see it on your site though...

I have two Viewsonic VX900s - and they have been very superior performers - but they came almost two years ago. Brands do not equate to constant quality. That is a constantly moving target. Today I vote Samsung.

I had a 19 Viewsonic flat panel CRT that had uneven colors and support told me to smack the side and it would go away. I had 2 LCDs with the maximum allowable number of bad pixels out of the box. My Iiyamas, Dells, and Samsungs never had these problems. Just bad luck I guess.
