I have a customer who wants a laptop but will be takign it to Japan and wants International / Global warranty service.
I know IBM used to do that but we don't sell IBM machines at Staples. (Yes, Staples! Who else but me would actually put this amount of work into a job that pays about $6US per hour?)
Note the time... yes, I'm doing this on my own.
So - international warranty service? Can HP/Compaq do it? Toshiba? Sony?
And does he have to get it with the laptop or can he just get it from HP/Sony/Whatever directly?
I'm searching, but if someone knows the answer you'll really cut my research time down! Thanks!
